Setting the financial and institutional foundations to develop competencies and increase learning opportunities for the disadvantaged youth, such as young refugees or those living in developing countries, through martial arts and sports activities. They shared opinions on the role and function of sports and martial arts in setting and preserving peace. The participants held in-depth discussions on turning their ideas into reality at the ICM and real world. The conference was conducted under standing international conference protocols of the UNESCO Conference and Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Education and Sports (CIGEPS), and the coordination of voices and opinions helped participants from diverse backgrounds to reach a final negotiated resolution.
