- Collecting data including types, characteristics and history of martial arts, how they are transmitted and related human networks
- Discovering professionals in respective fields, building partnerships and facilitating work by visiting researchers
- Joint initiatives with UNESCO and other relevant organizations including joint publication

- Literature and online surveys
- Utilizing researchers (scholars from home and abroad and expert groups) to gather data on martial arts prototype, region and country, and suppporting research on the positive impact of martial arts
- Joint initiatives with organizations specializing in martial arts that are shortlisted on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
