Above all members of the Special Advisory Group, UNESCO ICM organizes an Editorial Advisory Group consisting of 5 members(subject to change), based on their experience, specialty, and field of expertise to receive periodic comments about creating periodicals that are in alignment with the policies, trends, and strategies of UNESCO.

2019-24 / Brian Moore |
|
Mr. Brian Moore has extensive academic qualifications and is currently completing doctoral studies at Macquarie University, Australia. Mr. Moore gained a B.A. from the University of Sydney and has multiple postgraduate qualifications in education and psychology. With a professional background as a registered psychologist and primary/secondary educator, he has significant experience in working with children and adolescents. He is committed to promoting child and adolescent mental health as an important outcome in its own right and due to the impact mental health has on related factors such as educational achievement. Mr. Moore has varied research interests and has published on topics including bullying, inclusive education, martial arts, mental health and resilience. He is passionate about promoting mental health in schools and developing an evidence base to support this. During 2019, Mr. Moore’s research had widespread popular media exposure, reaching an audience of over 600,000 people. |

His teaching and research areas include sport sciences in general, and more specifically martial arts and combat sports, physical education, teacher education and bibliometrics. He has written six books, more than 40 book chapters and more than 50 papers, many of them in high impact academic journals. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Revista de Artes Marciales Asiáticas and member of the Board of Ido Movement for Culture. Journal of Martial Arts Anthropology. |

Particular experience of establishing, supporting, monitoring and evaluating volunteer run projects, community engagement and community based education. Practiced in developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of stake-holders. Committed to facilitating client led sustainable change and development. |

Jackie Lauff is the co-founder and CEO of Sport Matters, an international NGO based in Australia that uses sport to promote development and peace in Australia, the Pacific, Asia and Africa. Sport Matters is a powerful voice for sport for development and peace and has hosted two international conferences in Australia. Jackie also works with the Oceania National Olympic Committees and UNESCO Asia-Pacific on the design of a regional framework for sport policy and education to harness the contribution of sport to sustainable development in the Pacific. This includes a new regional capacity-building project to raise the voice for sport in eight Pacific Island Countries and develop mechanisms for influencing national and regional policy development processes. |
| Youth Representative / Sethsamprathna Yeang |
| Prathna is a young professional working to advocate around the issue of youth participation, social inclusion, gender equality and well being . He has become UNESCO’s Youth &Sport Task Force in 2017 while he was leading a sport based program called “Sports for Social Change” to combat gender stigma and promote peace building between Cambodia and Vietnam. Prathna is well known for founding a youth network called “Joint of Youth-Cambodia” and his contributions to the youth development in Cambodia through the role on the UN Joint Program on Youth Employment Steering Committee and three year tenure as an active advisory member of the UN Youth Advisory Panel. He is actively involved in public sharing and training on GBV(Gender Based Violence) and IPV(Intimate Partner Violence) awareness, Sport based &Adolescent Gender related Program Design, and Peace Leadership Education across Cambodia and Southeast Asia region. Currently Prathna is working as Technical Specialist for Adolescent Youth and Gender at World Vision International in Cambodia to ensure and improve the quality of adolescent technical program implementation. |
