Subject Call for Applications 2021 The 4th International Youth Online Martial Arts Camp
International Centre of Martial Arts for Youth Development and Engagement under the auspices of UNESCO (ICM) will host the 4th International Youth Online Martial Arts Camp in 2021. Due to the spread of COVID-19 around the globe, the camp is to be held via online from Wednesday, Aug 4th to Friday, Aug 6th. For those who are interested in participating in this year’s camp, please refer to the below details.

Objectives - To equip youth with knowledge
and cultural values of martial arts - To foster physical and
emotional development of youth and build capacity - To cultivate leadership, a
sense of community and effective communication skills through group activities ●
Main Programs - World Martial Arts Training: Capoeira
(Brazil), Taekkyeon (Korea) - Youth Participation and
Empowerment Through Martial Arts: Sharing experience of Martial Arts Open School,
Global Citizenship Education (GCED) - Group Activity: Research on world
martial arts, Presentation on how to contribute to achieving Sustainable
Development Goals(SDGs) with martial arts - Special Activity: Martial arts
calligraphy, Online sports day

for Applicants ●
Number of Participants: 40 ●
Eligibility - Age between 15 and 18 (born
between 2003 and 2006) - Ability to communicate in
English - Passionate and responsible to
attend the whole camp training program (including orientation, official
schedule and follow up activity) - Interested in martial arts and
international youth exchange ●
Benefits for Participants - Certificates of completion issued
by UNESCO ICM - Prizes for best participant
and for best team - Camp souvenirs (including
T-shirts, an eco bag, a badge, etc)
