Subject Call for applications Delegates for 2022 ICM Model UNESCO Conference (EXTENDED)
□ Application information ㅇ Application Period : 30 May ~ 20 July 2022 23:59 (GMT+9) (EXTENDED) ㅇ Eligibility: University or graduate school students / open to all nationalities ㅇ Requirements ① English communication skills (including writing) are essential. ② The participant shall attend the conference in person. ③ ICM does not provide visa support or transport to Korea. ㅇ Preferred candidates ① Persons with model UN or relevant experience ② Nationals or persons with deeper understanding of the country representing ③ Persons with related majors; international relations, sports, martial arts, and etc. ㅇ Number of delegates: 40 (subject to change based on applicants’ profiles) ① CIGEPS member states: 36 (2 delegates per each of 18 states) ② CIGEPS consultative member : 4 (1 delegates per each organisation) ㅇ It is highly recommended to form a team of 2 and apply for one of the below listed CIGEPS member states. (Individual application is still accepted.) For CIGEPS consultative members, each individual can choose one organisation from the list below and apply for its delegate position. ㅇ List of CIGEPS member states and consultative members
ㅇ The organiser has the sole right to allocate the applicants to the CIGEPS member states and consultative members after comprehensive assessment to the submitted application forms and interviews. ㅇ How to apply ① Please download the application form from ICM website and submit the completed one via email to ss.cho@unescoicm.org no later 14 June 2022 23:59 (GMT+9) ② Email title: 2022 MUNESCO_country/organisation applying for_your name ㅇ Selection process ① 1st stage: application form evaluation and screening ② 2nd stage: online (ZOOM) interview ③ In case of team applicants, the team score will be calculated by taking the average of its members’. ㅇ Timeline
