2020 International Martial Arts Academic Seminar was hosted on 12 November under the theme ‘COVID-19 Pandemic : Martial Arts Response and Beyond’, at the new ICM building, International Conference Room. The seminar aimed to confront and find measures for issues in the field of martial arts that have been triggered from COVID-19, and to promote martial arts in the post-corona period.

To prevent the COVID-19 from spreading the seminar was conducted in small-size, inviting only about 70 people. The whole building was sterilized before the event, participants were checked for temperature before entering, a list of participants’ time of arrival and temperature was made, social distancing and safety shields were installed as precaution measures.

Consisted of three sessions, ‘Martial Arts Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic : Case Study’, ‘(Special Session) Living Heritage Series ’, and ‘Martial Arts in the post COVID-19 world : Voices of Youth’ the seminar programme book is available in provided link below.
