Title [Centre News] 2025 Results & 2026 Call for Applications: Inclusive Martial Arts Training

What happens when martial arts meets rehabilitation? Last year, ICM partnered with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) to bring inclusive martial arts training to persons with disabilities and rehabilitation professionals in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Over five days, 30 participants reported meaningful shifts — in confidence, physical ability, social participation, and personal empowerment. Key Information is as follows ▪ Program period: 5-day training between July and October 2026 ▪ Eligible countries: Bangladesh, India, or Vietnam ▪ Eligible applicants: organizations/institutions with at least 3 years of experience in rehabilitation programs for persons with disabilities ▪ Participant scale: at least 25 participants available for full participation during the 5-day training ▪ Operational requirements: at least 3 permanent staff members and at least 15 wheelchairs (or the capacity to prepare them) ▪ Funding support: up to KRW 10,000,000 (approximately USD 6,500, subject to exchange rate at time of payment) ▪ Application deadline: Sunday, April 12, 2026, 23:59 (KST) ▪ Submission method: online via the official ICM website
