Title UNESCO's Fit for Life Flagship and Hosting of Photo Contest
UNESCO is launching Fit for Life, a new sport-based flagship designed to tackle contemporary challenges such as physical inactivity, mental health issues and inequality to foster peaceful, inclusive and resilient societies. Fit for Life activities will accelerate COVID-19 recovery and enhance the well-being of people, and of youth in particular, through smart evidence-based investments in sports, as well as an integrated action from policy to
practice. The flagship will be officially launched on 15 November during UNESCO’s General Conference.   Also, as part of the Fit for Life flagship, UNESCO is hosting a photo contest, from 15 OCT - 30 NOV. Youth photographers between 18 and 35 can submit a portfolio or photos that showcase the Power of Sports a driver of equality, inclusion, and empowerment. - When? From 15 October to 30 November - Who? Youth photographers between 18 and 35 - What? Submit one or a a portfolio of photos which showcase the power of sport as a driver of equality, inclusion and empowerment.
