Title Appointment of the 3rd Secretary General of ICM
Mr. Kyujig Kim has been appointed as the third Secretary General of ICM on 22 May 2023. He has developed policy planning and management skills throughout his past careers, working as a public officer at the Sports Bureau, International Tourism Policy Office, and the Planning & Coordination Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST). Based on these working experiences, he is expected to contribute to the development of ICM by implementing its' functions and objectives as a category 2 centre in sport fields. His term of office is three years, which will be completed on 21 May 2026. UNESCO ICM, which was officially launched in 2017, supports research and capacity building activities for the development and social engagement of youth across the globe. |
