Title 2020 4th Martial Arts Open School (Jejudo)
| 2020 4th Martial Arts Open School Project is also on-going now in Jeju Island, a UNESCO designated World Natural Heritage Site in Korea! A collaboration between a World Natural Heritage and an Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, more than 200 young girls at Jeju have been enjoying Taekkyeon from 14 to 29 September for 3 weeks. The classes are being educated by Taekkyeon Masters Mr. You Joung-su and Mr. Shin Kyu-jin dispatched from UNESCO ICM to encourage girls and women to engage in martial arts activities and facilitate these female participants to achieve the SDGs (Goal 4 and 5) through martial arts education. |
