Title 2nd African Regional Martial Arts Congress

Hosted by UNESCO ICM and Ghana National Commission for Unesco, 2nd African Regional Martial Arts Congress, ARMAC, is being held in AccraGhana. Representatives have gathered to discuss about the Cultural Unity in African Self-Defense Tradition.

More than 60 participants all ready to be engaged in passionate discussion for the development of martial arts in Africa for youth and women.

Participants include West African countries, mainly Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Ethiopia, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger as well as some Southern and Eastern African countries, i.e. Uganda, Zimbabwe and Kenya. Also in attendance are the UNESCO Accra Office, the Korean Embassy in Ghana, KOICA and officials from some UNESCO National Commissions from neighbouring countries.
